Amanda Miner is a student at Sandia Preparatory School. She will be a sophomore in the fall of 2014.
She worked in three labs at UNM in the summer of 2014:
the Adaptive Motion Planing Research Group, the Biological Computation lab and the University of New Mexico Medical School.
She worked on Iants (robots that are programed to act like ants), taking live pictures of T-cells with florescent microscopes, staining the blood vessels in mice so they could be viewed with a florescent microscope, and working on allergen protein structures.
She currently wants to study biomedical engineering.
