CSGSA Semesterly Picnic

Each semester (at the beginning of the Fall and the end of the Spring), the CSGSA hosts a picnic for the entire department. It's a great way for people to visit with each other, see new faces or otherwise socialize within the department.

 

Fall 2004, the Departmental Picnic was held at Prof. Saia's house. We had quite a turn-out!

Fellow CS Folks,

The CSGSA is pleased to announce the Fall term version of the biannual Departmental Picnic! The picnic will be on September 11, from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Prof. Jared Saia has graciously agreed to host it at his house and the adjoining park. So that we can buy an appropriate amount of food, please do RSVP. Otherwise, see you there!

  • Who: everyone! (students, faculty, staff, friends, family, etc.)
  • When : Saturdady, Sept 11, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Where : Jared's House, 417 13th St. NW

  • Food : provided (burgers (veggie/meat), cookies, drinks, etc.)
  • Activities : volley ball, frisbee, pinata(?), etc.

Spring 2004, CSGSA had the picnic at Doc Long's Park on the east side of the Sandia Mountains.

  • People: Everyone is welcomed! Bring your family, friends, pets..... Let's have fun!
  • Food: Hamburgers, Veggie Burgers, Hot Dogs, Cheese, Chips, Beverage, Buns, Potato Salad, Water Melon ....
  • Activities: Volley Ball, Soccer, Hiking ....
  • Transportation: If you need a ride or you are willing to offer a ride, please contact CSGSA.
