Biographical Sketch
Patrick G. Bridges is an associate professor with the Computer Science Department at the University of New Mexico, where he does research on large scale computer systems, particularly high-performance scientific computing systems. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in 2002 working under the direction of Prof. Rick Schlichting, and his B.S. from Mississippi State University in 1994. His research interests include operating system and communication system design and implementation, modeling and analysis of computer systems, and fault tolerance and resilience. He is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society.
