Fishing for sharks in Tomales Bay

We rented a boat and went fishing for leopard sharks in Tomales bay. Setso was the skipper all day and brought us back safely even though the engine kept dying. Paul caught two leopard sharks, one four footer named Phil which we ate and one three footer that we threw back without asking his name. Paul also caught a huge crab that was munching on his bait and wouldn't let go. Setso caught a 60lb wad of seaweed, as did I. I also caught about a 50lb skate which we threw back and promptly said a prayer to Cthulhu:
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
It was big enough to break Paul's net in two. Paul caught two skates from the shore the day before, too.

The best catch of the weekend. It was 15 inches and 216 ounces.

Phil. While I was bringing in the skate from the back of the boat Setso and Paul had brought Phil into the front of the boat and were beating him up. Paul smacked him in the head with an oar and made blood spurt all over Setso's jacket. Then Setso wacked him LAPD style with a two foot piece of galvanized steel pipe and he calmed down. Then Paul stabbed him in the brain with a flaying knife to finish the job.

The skate I caught was big enough to break Paul's net.

Phil. More DNA evidence was found on Setso's jacket. If you're wondering why there are no pictures of Setso it's because he brought the camera.

Another picture of poor Phil.

Paul is the iron chef, and this was his phantasmally wicked recipe.

Paul cutting steaks. Note the neuce laying in the grass, which Setso disassembled for the steel pipe. We never got a chance to use it, but next time we're going to bring in the big one (record for leopard sharks is 40 lbs, 10 ounces, probably about seven feet).
