I went to ALife VIII in Sydney, Australia in December 2002. The trip was paid for in part by an RPT grant and an SRAC grant. I had delicious ricotta pancakes and scrambled eggs at Bill's in Darlinghurst. I also went to the Sydney Opera House to see a concert featuring violinist Viviane Hagner.
