| Torre Pendente, Pisa - The tower was reopened this year
after extensive repair to its foundation. The tickets to climb it were
15 Euros, which seemed kind of high considering the main sight in Pisa
is the tower itself, which can be seen just fine from the ground.

| San Michele, Lucca - I was amazed by the columns of this church, which
were nearly all different.

Piazza Amfiteatro Romano, Lucca (from a postcard - I was too cheap to pay
for using one of the observatory tower views) -
This plaza was built on the site of an old Roman amphitheater.
