Important! Class attendance and participation is a crucial component of this course. Students who miss two classes will be dropped from the course by default. If you have to miss class due to a medical emergency, etc, please send me an email as far in advance as possible.
The textbook for the course is A Gift of Fire by Sara Baase. Copies are available in the bookstore. There will be weekly reading assignments, starting from the first class.
