Screen dumps from tkisem
All images are screen dumps from an 800x600 X11 display. These
images illustrate tkisem 4.2.
The main window
This screen dump illustrates the main window of tkisem, just
after the user file "align_test" has been loaded.
The register display window
This screen dump illustrates the register display window of
tkisem. This window displays the registers of the SPARC integer
unit along with the next instruction to be executed.
The text display window
This screen dump illustrates the text display window of tkisem.
The leftmost column in this display shows the current value of
the PC (using the symbol '>') and any breakpoints that have been
set (using the symbol 'B').
A sample error
This screen dump illustrates a sample error, in this case, an
unaligned memory reference. When the user code executes an
illegal instruction, the rom code prints an error message on the
consol. Note that the PC shown in the text display window has
been updated.
The help window
This screen dump illustrates the help window. The help system
consists of single file with embedded links. Users can follow
links in the file (links have a yellow background) or use the
"Help" buttons on the various tkisem windows to jump around in
the help file.
