Pavithra Prabhakar has been appointed as the inaugural Cleve Moler and MathWorks Endowed Chair in Mathematical and Engineering Software at the University of New Mexico (UNM).
This endowed honors MATLAB’s UNM origins and establishes a permanent connection between MathWorks and UNM, enabling deeper collaboration between the two organizations.
Pavithra will join UNM in December, transitioning from her current position, professor and the Peggy and Gary Edwards Chair in Engineering, at Kansas State University.
